Higham Lane Does It Again...

Wednesday 2 July saw the third annual Partnership Day of Sport for the North Warwickshire School Sport Partnership.

All secondary schools within the Partnership hold an event for their cluster primaries to showcase their achievements of the year.

Higham Lane School chose Judo as their showcase for the third year running. Wayne Lakin and his team of coaches were once again excellent. The Year 2 and Year 4 students from our cluster primaries thoroughly enjoyed themselves, The Enjoy Judo Team also made use of the Year 10 Sports Leaders briefing them at the begining and a debrief at the end, even the Primary staff managed to join in!

Judo is enjoyed in all of our cluster primaries as part of the OSHL programme. The breakfast clubs have proved to be a huge success with many children joining clubs as a result.

Our secondary school, from September 08, will also be running a Judo club, due to the demand of the students.
