If you know someone that
helps others participate in judo, then now is the time to nominate
them for the BBC Sports Unsung Hero Award.
Now in its eighth year,
this special award recognises someone who is dedicating their
life to promoting sport in your community, taking no reward from
it other than the pleasure of helping others to take part and
enjoy sport. It does not matter how young or how old they are,
how high a level they are at or how many people they are helping,
simply that their efforts deserve recognition.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 29 th October
2010.
The BBC Sports Unsung Hero
Award in your region will be announced in late November/early
December on your BBC Local Radio station and BBC Regional TV.
All 15 regional winners will go forward to BBC Sports Personality
of the Year 2010 in Birmingham on Sunday 19 December, where the
overall winner BBC Sports Unsung Hero will be announced live on
BBC One and BBC Radio 5 Live.
