Female judoka from the
British Judo Performance Institute will be joining some of the
country’s top prospects as they train at the England ExCell South
East training session in Tonbridge tonight.
The England ExCell Intervention
was put in place to ensure that young players are developed technically,
nurtured and then transferred successfully to the Great Britain
programme.
Karen Roberts, Performance
Operations Manager, said: “Tonight’s session enables the BJPI
players to utilise another training opportunity.
“It also allows us to work
closely with the England network which is very important.”
