VISION :

To create a step change in the planning and delivery of sporting opportunities for children and young people through the development, communication and sharing of local and national priorities

AIM :

To improve the ability of SSP's and schools, in partnership with NGBs and CSPs, to improve the ability of school and youth sport to contribute to NGB whole sport plans.

OUTCOMES :

To bring together a wide range of national and local agencies each with a stake in the successful delivery of sport. By bringing these stakeholders together into a single, coherent and aligned planning process the following 8 outcomes will be achieved :

•  Strategic planning – balancing top down policy with bottom up priorities

•  Network connections – right people, right place, right time

•  Alignment of resources – adding value, maximising return

•  Information management – making intelligent/coherent decisions

•  Building relationships – helping people work together

•  Economies of scale – maximising return, minimising duplication

•  Decision making/governance – professionalising local networks

•  Communications – clarity, understanding each other

•  Ownership – joint responsibility, overcoming barriers, making it work
