EJU President Sergey Soloveychik said: “As we announced during the Congress in Kiev, we are very proud to announce that the EJU will organize in Croatia, between the 2nd and 7th March 2011, a traditional Kodokan Kata Course.

“The teachers of the course will be a team of experts coming from the Kodokan of Tokyo. This historical event represents a historical collaboration between the Kodokan to and Europe in the sector of Kata and the high number of practicing people in our Continent.

“There are two important objectives for this course. The possibility to improve the knowledge of Kata with high level of teachers in the world and those who are interested to do a demonstration of one Kata in front of the Kodokan experts can achieve the Kodokan certificate without going to Japan.

“In this first edition of this special agreement, we have kept the costs as low as possible so that as many judoka as possible can participate and enjoy this great opportunity.”
