British women's team win silver medal in Ehime

A five-woman GB team was invited into the select Matsumya Tournament following the Toyko Grand Slam, on Wednesday 16th December.

The team beat the regional Japanese team Ehime and went on to top their pool, also beating Germany.  

Korea, Poland and Japan battled it out in the other pool with Japan emerging as winners to face GB in the final. 

Japan came out on top in the final and the Brits took a well deserved silver medal to end a very successful tour for the British Team in Japan. 

The team consisted of Kelly Edwards/Sam Clark -52kgs, Sarah Clark -57kgs, Faith Pitman -63kgs, Sally Conway -70khs, Karina Bryant +70kgs.
