I am very pleased to inform you that we have now collected the grand sum of £8,500 for the ‘Elvis Gordon Testimonial Fund’. I am aware that there is still some fund raising taking place so we will continue to keep the fund open for donations.

Close judo friends of Elvis have met and discussed with Elvis and his family the amount of the funds that have been raised.

For your information I have been told that he wishes to spend some of the money as follows; New central heating boiler - Lap top computer - Holiday with his wife and children - Visit to Jamaica to see his family.

I know that Elvis is extremely appreciative and overwhelmed by the response from his many judo friends from all over the World. As previously mentioned a list of the names only of those who have made donations will be forwarded to Elvis shortly.

I would also confirm that the raffle run by Dino of AVA Sports raised £500 and the Neil Adams appeal raised £540 both of these amounts are included in the grand total of £8,500 – to date!
