Applications
are now being invited to join the newly established Events Commission
to help take British Judo Events forward. The Commission
will work alongside BJA staff and will consist of the following
members:
Chairman
– Densign White
Marketing
& Promotions Officer – Suitable candidates will
have experience of marketing or publicity and preferably have
some journalistic experience. This role will work closely
with the BJA Communications Department and will serve for a period
of two years.
Sponsorship
Officer – This candidate will have commercial experience,
within either a sporting or business environment. This role
will work closely with the BJA Commercial Manager and will serve
for a period of two years.
Events
Specialist – This role will be filled by someone with
significant demonstrable events experience at the highest level
gained with any industry. This role will liaise closely
with the BJA Events Manager and serve for a period of two years.
IT
Officer – This role will work alongside the BJA’s IT
Officer and the EJU Computer Team to ensure the smooth running
of BJA national and international events. This role
will serve for a period of two years and applicants must be available
to attend all BJA national and international events.
Staging/Presentation
Officer - The successful applicant will be responsible
for advising on the all aspects of staging and presentation.
The role will liaise closely with the BJA Events Manager and serve
for a period of two years. It is essential that applicants
are available to attend all BJA national and international events.
Competitions
Advisor – The successful candidate will be a suitably
qualified referee or competition official who will be responsible
for advising on technical considerations at BJA national and international
events. This role will liaise closely with the BJA Events
Manager.
