Sky Sports are encouraging
secondary schools to sign up to their Living for Sport programme
as sport and athlete mentors help young people achieve bigger
and better things.
Sky Sports Living for Sport works in partnership
with Youth Sports Trust and at the forefront of the engaging programme
are school appearances from athlete mentors such as British Judo
star Tom
Davis .

"The best thing about
being an athlete mentor is going to all the different schools,
I’ve never had the same style of group, every single one is different
and you learn so much,” said the -81kg star.
"I feel privileged
to be in this position and hopefully our work can have a lasting
effect on so many people’s young lives.”
Sky Sports Living for Sport
Ambassador Darren Campbell said: "We're using sport stars
and sport skills to improve the lives of thousands of young people.
Sport helps people think,
helps people listen, helps people to speak up and helps people
work together. Different sports inspire different people but one
thing is true: there's a sport for everyone and it can change
your life."
