The 19th Maccabiah Games
will be held on July 16-30th 2013 and almost 10,000 Jewish athletes
from over 55 countries will be competing. The Maccabiah Games
takes place every four years in Israel and is the third largest
sports event in the world behind the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth
Games.
Recruitment for the British
team has started and we want to make sure that everyone across
the Jewish community knows about this fantastic opportunity. We
are looking to recruit Sports Chairs, Managers, Coaches, Players
and a Medical Team to represent the British Jewish community.
The British team will be competing in 30 sports, both male and
female, across Junior, Open and Masters categories. Britain will
be one of the largest delegations at the 2013 Games.
