British Judo – Merchandising Sales Manager

The British Judo Association (BJA) is seeking high calibre candidates for the position of Merchandising Sales Manager to deliver ambitious sales targets as outlined in our commercial plan.

We commenced merchandising operations in August 2004 and we currently have a six figure turnover and believe we can triple this within five years. The Merchandising Sales Manager will be actively involved in the process of identifying new lines and products and will be responsible for all levels of the process – with an emphasis on sales. The key product lines are technical gear, mats, GiGear logo clothing, and logo promotional items.

We are looking for a highly committed individual who has the necessary experience, skills and ambition to help drive our income generation potential to the next level. BJA Merchandising, in addition to providing much needed income to the sport, has also proven to be an excellent benefit to our members.

Basic salary will be based on experience and there will be a performance based bonus system plus benefits.

 

This position will be based at the Head Office in Loughborough and will involve significant domestic travel for events and trade shows.
