Two-time Commonwealth Games
silver medallist Non Evans received an MBE for her services to
sport on Tuesday.
Evans, 35, received her
award from the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, during an investiture
ceremony at Windsor Castle.
The Welsh all-rounder
famously become the first woman to compete in two sports at the
2002 Commonwealth Games as she took part in the judo and weightlifting
competitions.
In 2010 the Cardiff product
added wrestling to her Commonwealth CV as she took to the mat
at the Dehli Games.
The sporting standout retired
from international rugby last year following a record-breaking
career which featured 86 caps and 64 tries for Wales.
