The newly-launched British
Judo TeamCard will replace the long-standing pink licence slip
and offer members the opportunity to earn points from shopping
online.
The loyalty card acts as
proof of membership and insurance and is affiliated with hundreds
of merchants online from whom points can be redeemed. A full list
can be found at www.teamcard.co.uk
British Judo’s new TeamCard will be
issued when members renew their licence and will run in conjunction
with the record books which we advise you to keep together in
the sticky-backed plastic wallets provided.
If you wish to request a TeamCard
before your renewal date than you can do so for a small charge
of £3.
To register your new card simply go
to www.teamcard.co.uk
click “REGISTER NOW” and follow the steps. You’ll
be asked for a few details to set up your account, including your
TeamCard number (this is the 14 digit number found below the barcode
on the back of your card), email address, username and password.
You can then earn points
for shopping at 450 well-known, big-name retailers.
Each TeamCard has a unique 14-digit
number which works alongside your BJA licence number and after
you’ve successfully registered you simply login to your TeamCard
account each time you shop online.
You can also earn points
when you purchase items from Judo Store, British Judo’s new online
service.
You will earn 1 point for each full
£1 spent while points will also be awarded for opening and renewing
memberships. The points information for other merchants is available
on the Team Card website.
