Due to the busy year ahead with the Olympics, Paralympics, Junior European and Junior World Championships, a team will be selected for the U23 European Championships but there will be no ‘BJA U23 programme’ in 2008. This is extremely unfortunate after such a successful programme in 2007 led by Darren Warner and Kate Howey and is purely a prioritisation of funding during the coming year for the Major Events previously mentioned.

We strongly encourage all athletes in this age group to be attending International B level Tournaments for their personal development, a list of which can be found in the attached selection document.
