Following the announcement
today by the Home Secretary, Theresa May, that she intends
to review the VBS scheme the BJA will have to delay the release
of any new procedures for working with children in judo
until this review is completed and any changes to the scheme made.
The current BJA procedures
for completing CRB checks remain unchanged and new forms with
guidance for completion will be sent to BJA authorised document
checkers in the next 10 days.
